Below are the 7 most common properties you will be seeing/using in 7th grade math. I created extra examples incase you do not understand some of the examples in the chart to the left.

<--Notice with Example 1, the final answer to the division problem "5 divided by 8" is 0.625. It STOPS! Therefore, it's terminating.
Notice with Example 2, the final answer to the division problem "7 divided by 12" is 0.5833333.. and the 3 repeats forever. Every time a number repeats forever, a bar is drawn above it to show that you understand it continues. -------------> |

Don't forget your integer rules when adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing positives and negatives.
